3 The Sundial Terrace.

The large area below the three sets of steps was originally gravelled with a grass bank up to the higher grass walk and down to the grassed area on which the sun dial sits. 

We have old photographs of the terrace from the turn of the century and there were yuccas near the steps which we have replaced.
